Arriving just in time to remedy our winter blues, Berlin-based Aussies Parcels have shared a vibrant new remix of their track “Lightenup” by the legendary Grammy Award-winning producer/DJ Alex Metric. The British DJ takes the nu-disco, guitar-driven track and breathes new life into an already amazing tune — resulting in a soaring disco-trip unlike anything else. Stream the new remix below.

“Lightenup” is taken from Parcels’ self-titled debut album which arrived at the end of 2018 to widespread praise and quickly amassed over 75 million streams globally, including 8 million views on their beautiful music videos. Now, following a year of sold-out tours across Europe, Australia, Japan, and more — Parcels are returning to the United States in support of their incredible new album and have sets confirmed at Coachella, Governors Ball, and a headline tour with sold-out dates in NYC, Boston, Chicago, Toronto and more. Parcels are Louie Swain (synth), Patrick Hetherington (synth), Noah Hill (bass), Anatole Serret (drums) and Jules Crommelin (guitar) an eclectic band blending elements of electronica, funk, classic and contemporary pop. The group strives for perfection when it comes to production, composition, and arrangement, with a live show so fulfilled that Daft Punk offered to work with them on the spot. Damn.
